Return to In-Person Practices
Update on the use of Dharma Gate as of December 1, 2022
Our Stewardship Council, Facilities Teams, and others in Leadership have decided the time has come for us to open Dharma Gate for in-person practice to all, members and non-members, with no prior sign up or notification needed. Masks are still required. We will continue using our hybrid model, offering the option to zoom in. Please check our website for updates, and to find out which practices are offering in-person. As of November 1st, Monday night practice is offering an in-person option each week and will continue to do so. Our Monday night in-person practice has been building! Sitting, walking and chanting in our beautiful zendo together has been very nourishing. We encourage you to join us, come on through!
While this is now an option for all of our weekly and special practices, we recognize not all of our practice groups will choose to hold in person practice at this time. Furthermore, some special offerings such as Days of Mindfulness, and Retreats may continue with a RSVP or Sign Up option for in-person. Please check our website, newsletter, and emails periodically for updates.
We hope that those who felt distanced from the practice due to the virtual nature of our gatherings over the past two years will find their way back to Sangha and the practice. The Sangha has held you in spirit and we look forward to being in shared physical space again.
To continue to protect each other and our communities, we request the following protocols to be followed at Dharma Gate:
- All in person practitioners must be vaccinated and boosted (one booster shot is fine)
- Masks must be worn in doors at all times.
- All guests must sign in on the clipboard whenever visiting Dharma Gate.
