Dedicated Sitting and Walking Practice

—the weekend following the Day of Mindfulness in March–

You are warmly invited to join our community for a weekend of shared practice, including community gathering, bell master training, and a Day of Dedicated Sitting and Walking meditation.

Friday, March 20, 2026
Community Potluck and Bell Master Training
4:00–8:00 p.m.
This evening will offer an opportunity for community building, shared sitting and walking meditation, and bell master training. Please bring a vegetarian dish to share.

Saturday, March 21, 2026
Day of Dedicated Sitting and Walking Practice
9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

This day of practice offers an opportunity to deepen mindfulness through alternating periods of sitting and walking meditation. Some sessions will include light guidance. The day will also include a Dharma practice, mindful outdoor walking meditation (weather permitting), and a communal vegetarian potluck meal.

You are welcome to attend any portion of the day or the full schedule.

10:00 a.m. – Sitting (30 min) / Walking (20 min) / Rest (10 min)
11:00 a.m. – Sitting (30 min) / Walking (20 min) / Rest (10 min)
12:00 p.m. – Communal Vegetarian Potluck Meal
1:00 p.m. – Dharma Practice
2:00 p.m. – Sitting (45 min) OR Walking (45 min)
3:00 p.m. – Dharma Practice & Closing
